Did you think that all those cute elves and pixies spent their days dancing around maypoles and holding hands? Think again! And what about the characters in that sword and sorcery novel you read? Did those knights of old really settle for just a dropped handkerchief or did they expect the fair damsel to drop some more substantial articles of clothing? Bringing it more up to date and into the future, how is it that aliens who seem fascinated with poking and probing at the earthlings they abduct always seem to settle for some less than attractive redneck farmer when they could as easily grab his buxom daughter? Those tentacles need to find a nice receptive home, and she's far better equipped to serve in that capacity!
